​Sam Eastmond

Gulgoleth is the latest project from composer Sam Eastmond, a stripped down rhythm section supergroup featuring Moss Freed (guitar) Elliot Galvin (Piano) Otto Willberg (Bass) and Will Glaser (drums) 

This music grew out of working with these amazing musicians over two Spike Orchestra Masada recording sessions for John Zorn. Inspired by the experience of those intense beautiful sessions and post session viewings of the work of Jack Smith and the Marx Brothers, this intensely personal music is an outrageous and eclectic mixture of jazz, rock, surf, Radical Jewish Culture, metal and cartoon influences.

This new group has just recorded a set of music and were honoured to have Downtown NYC guru and multi-Grammy winning engineer/mix wizard Marc Urselli at the desk completing the dream team line-up.
